Mr. Goode maintains an active private teaching studio and is Adjunct Trumpet Faculty at the University of Illinois at Chicago where he also teaches. He is indebted to the example and help of his teachers from the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, Adolph "Bud" Herseth, Arnold Jacobs, and William Scarlett from whom he gained the foundations of playing, to Elizabeth Hale Knox, soprano from Music of the Baroque, his voice teacher, and to Kim Diehnelt, conductor of the Chicago Reading Orchestra from who he has learned much.
